The 20,600 hectares Lamington National Park is known for its natural beauty, rainforests, birdlife, ancient trees, waterfalls, walking tracks and mountain views.

Gunner’s Quoin Trail, near Risdon (Tasmania)

Distance: 13 km – Uphill: 595 m – Downhill: 595 m – Time: 4:20/5:20 hrs

Gunner’s Quoin is a mountain in southeast Tasmania. It’s located in a protected area covered in native bushland that offers an extensive network of hiking trails.

Grampians National Park, near Halls Gap (Victoria)

Distance: 11 km – Uphill: 565 m – Downhill: 565 m – Time: 3:50/4:50 hrs

Located in the rural Grampians region of Victoria, this park was listed on the Australian National Heritage List in 2006 for its outstanding natural beauty and for being one of the richest indigenous rock art sites in south-eastern Australia.

The Valley of the Waters, near Wentworth Falls (New South Wales)

Distance: 10 km – Uphill: 680 m – Downhill: 393 m – Time: 3:40/4:40 hrs

This is a popular walk in the Blue Mountains. The area is known for its striking scenary, which encompasses steep cliffs, eucalyptus forests, and huge waterfalls.

Dutchman’s Stern Circuit, near Quorn (South Australia)

Distance: 10 km – Uphill: 438 m – Downhill: 438 m – Time: 3:20/4:00 hrs

This route reaches the mountain’s summit at 820 m, offering great views of the Spencer Gulf and the Willochra Plain. The Dutchman’s Stern is part of a 3,695 hectares conservation park, 5 km north-west of Quorn, in the Flinders Ranges.
