(re)Wandering in Madrid: Dehesa de la Villa

It belongs to a series of personal immersions that are explained and listed here. You can download the GPS track and its tags/waypoints from Google Maps.

Dehesa de la Villa Trail, Moncloa-Aravaca, Madrid, Spain

Distance: 5.3 km – Total climb: 192 m – Total descent: 187 m – Duration: 1:20 hrs

So there is this isolated 64-hectare “pasture” with cedar plantations. Reforested with pine trees in the days of Queen Isabel II, the Dehesa de la Villa park is now half an hour away from the center of Madrid in an apparently anonymous area.
